BRICS HR Department Now Accepting Turkey's Resume
Having evidently concluded that its existing geopolitical relationships, particularly within the rather exclusive club known as NATO, simply weren't providing the requisite level of 'global influence,' Turkey has reportedly tendered its résumé to the BRICS consortium. This bold maneuver, we are assured, is not a 'flirtation' but a serious quest for new 'connections' – a phrase often employed when one's current social circle proves insufficiently stimulating or perhaps just a tad too judgmental.
One can only marvel at the sheer diplomatic agility required to simultaneously be a linchpin of Western defense and also audition for a role in a group often seen as a counterweight to that very same West. Perhaps Ankara is merely seeking a more 'dynamic' work environment, or perhaps it's simply a masterful exercise in hedging, ensuring all bases are covered should any particular global alliance decide to throw an unexpected potluck. The HR department is surely intrigued.
